Beware of Golf Tip Guy
You know those guys? Those guys who do things that are completely inappropriate but don’t seem to care. Let me give you a few. Jersey Guy: A forty plus year old man who thinks it’s ok to sport a professional jersey on a regular basis. You aren’t on the team. I am just saying… Loud Guy: A guy who loves to be the loudest guy at a sporting event and thinks he is adding to the game by doing so. Well I have another one to add to the list. Get your pens out. It all started the other day when Jason and I played golf and we got paired up with a single. Seemed nice until Jason (who is still learning the game) hit one O.B. Then he jumped out of his cart and turned into, Golf Tip Guy. I don’t know what possesses Golf Tip Guy to ruin people’s day by giving out unsolicited advice to random people. I am not saying that the tips aren’t correct or could be potentially helpful. Just wrong place, wrong time. I have even gotten them from strangers that were 10 strokes higher than me at the turn. That is just psycho stuff. However the point is that tips are for the range. And unsolicited tips are for “never”. The golfer could be seeing a professional who has him/her working on something completely different than what you are telling them to do. If your not a Pro. We don’t want to hear it. I am just saying…
